CITRUS SALE

The YHS Music Department Citrus Sale is an 18-year tradition; many families (current and alumni) have reached out to ask us if it would still take place.

After much thought, we have decided to again host a contact-free sale. Monies raised will be used to help continue our end-of-year traditions and awards, and with the hope that we might also be able to participate in some sort of Spring music festival.  Participation is totally voluntary.  All orders will be placed online, paid for on-line, and shipped directly to the customer.

Information on how to order will be shared later this week. If you or anyone you know is interested in supporting our group, please share our information.

SUPPORT THE YCSD ARTS! BECOME A FIRST NIGHTER!!

  • Providing yearly scholarships to outstanding seniors.
  • Honoring Performing Arts juniors and seniors at an annual recognition dinner.

If you are interested, please e-mail Shelbey Graf ([email protected]).  Please consider volunteering your time and talents, and/or becoming a sponsor.  Akin to the Husker’s invaluable support of Athletics, the First Nighters are a vital part of keeping the Performing Arts alive in YCSD!

APPLE PICKING @ WILKEN’S FARM

Today 40 YHS Band students enjoyed a social outing to Wilken’s Farm!  Students had fun apple picking, eating cider donuts, and making “Bandtastic” memories.  Many thanks to Band Officers Thomas Mitchell (’23) and Chinmay Satpute (’22) for organizing this trip. Many thanks as well to the group of Band parents who helped chaperone – the students and Ms. Kluga appreciate your time and support! Photos attached for you to enjoy.
